Such an amazing idea, but they miscalculated and misunderstood the function: the depth (height of the spike) is too low. It is not useful unless you want to measure a flower's moisture. I am not sure why you would need to test your flowers - they are fine, just put a finger in the soil. The intention / primary consideration for purchasing a moisture meter is to understand how moist is the ROOT. This is WHY ALL, and I mean *ALL* moisture meters are TALL. Guys, have you gone out there and ever purchased one? They are very lengthy for a REASON! Because they must measure moisture at the ROOT. This only goes as far as your middle finger - which , incidentally, was my thought. This device completely fails at what it is supposed to do and is less than half the size of a typical $10 moisture meter.
