  I had recently needed a 3rd battery during my Travels and had NO TIME to IMPORT from Montreal or Toronto, the 2 companies that carried the Original Leica BLC-12 battery. The exact match Was the Panasonic DMW-BLC12, ordered and arrived in less than a week and at 1/2 the cost of the LEICA BRAND...yet it is exactly the SAME battery! I'll be needing another and I TRUST the build quality, battery Life and longevity. This battery is the ONE for ME. Or 2 now....
