  Caveat emptor! Heed other reviews of the extremely loud beeps this waffle maker puts out. The waffles themselves turn out fine, standard thin heart-shaped Norwegian waffles as opposed to thicker, circle Belgian-style waffles. However, the volume and frequency of the beeping would have me advise you to spend a bit more money on a better model if you can find one. It gives off SIX legato deafening beeps once initially heated for use, then another five siren-volume beeps for each time the iron reheats between waffles. The only upside to this model is that it closes and stands for easy storage. Save your hearing -- and sanity -- and buy a different model!
