- Reviewed in Canada on May 15, 2023I have a Vantrue X45 Duo, and the description says it's compatible, so i bought this kit to have my camera 24x7.
instructions are clear and easy to understand, and there are many youtube how to install it.
Long story short it's not working.
I installed the kit more than a month after I got it from 麻豆区, there is no way to return or replace it, so I need to swallow the cost.
first issue. you get 4 types of wires for 4 different fuse types.
Given the fact you have the red and the yellow connecting to the same switch box, you need to connect to 2 of the same fuses, go figure out where to get the second wire.
Now you need to buy another wire to fit into your switch box, which will cost you almost as A full kit.
I have a Nissan Murano 2017, and all the fuses are Low-Profile Mini Blade type, so I spend another $25 to be able to connect the second wire.
In addition to the fuse list which exists on the fuse box, very clear where is the ACC, i used A voltmeter to check the voltage a few times to ensure i am connecting to the right fuse.
It's very important to connect the fuse extender in the right direction (+, and -), otherwise it will not work.
It's important to ensure the ground has a connection, otherwise, nothing works.
I checked and double-checked, I connected, and disconnected, and I connected again.
It's not working, I will have to look for a different one, I wasted my money on this product for nothing.
Before you spend a dime on this one ensure you read all the details, worst case, don't wait, install it on the same day, to have the ability to return if it's not working.
