This mic is very gain-hungry, so do your research on what a decent quality preamp is so you don't end up disappointed. I recommend the focusrite scarlet solo preamp at a bare minimum. You will want to set this mic "gain-rich" to get that "podcast sound." For those who have the extra cash, the optional WS14 pop filter is a helpful purchase for this mic. It does a great job removing the unexpected plosives when they happen.
