  This is a complete remastering of the movie. It has improved video and sound quality. The movie is simply one of the best cinematography feats in the history of film. The dark world that shows no sun and an almost dream like world sets the mood for a well written story. This is not a typical sifi that relies only on special effects and fast action. In fact it is rather slow and deliberate. The characters are almost over defined in nature. The morality of manipulating genetics to create a slave human with a short life span is the key element. There is also the fact that although created to be a killing machine the last to die does so after realizing the value of life and trying to instil that into the mind of his hunter. I place this movie in my top 10 of all time list. There is also a very long cut almost 4 hours in length but I much more prefer this cut.
