Now measure from the bed of the machine to the screw hole, of presser foot. If the distance is 1/2 inch you鈥檝e got a low shank machine. If the distance is 1 inch, it is a higher shank.
My singer machine is a low shank machine and this is an excellent open toe Walking Foot with guide bar that the guide bar extends up to two inches. Great for Quilting, Nap and pile fabrics. Very easy to install and Bonus! 1/4鈥 Quilting foot with Edge Guide. Excellent operation and as described by seller.
