  UPDATE
  I've had much more success as of lately. I purchased the lifter separately and had another go. Make sure you leave glue between the tab and the body of the vehicle, do not push it too flat. I've made several of the hail spots on my vehicle nearly invisible lifting them and then tapping down any rise with the punches provided.
  
  My original review I had quite an issue with glue not coming off and breaking the scraper in the meantime. Between new alcohol and leaving more glue between tab and body - it is working well.
