  This is soothing and moisturizing, however, the texture is odd - after application it has a tacky finish. I saw others describe it as a "drag" or "pull" to it - in other words, it leaves a VERY matte film on the surface that doesn't absorb, or takes awhile to anyways. My guess is that this is by design as a protective layer to lock the moisture in and protect the skin, which makes sense. I like to use it on my body as the "film" isn't as noticeable, but I only use it as a spot treatment for rough patches on my face, as an extra layer over top of my regular moisturizer. Using it as an all-over facial moisturizer isn't pleasant for me, and makes it difficult to apply any skin cosmetic. So, I use it at night for spot treatment. While it hasn't performed any miracles, it does help.
