  The hardware is nice but this radio is useless for commercial radio communications in Canada as it does not broadcast in the right bands.
  
  The transmit capabilities are 144-148MHz and 430-450MHz in Canada which does not include the transmission frequencies for truck-to-truck, resource road, search and rescue/helicopter or guide channels.
  
  This restricted transmission window is not clearly stated on the product page
