  I was a little hesitant to order this filter after reading some of the negative comments. Since Amway no longer produces the R85e filter, and I wanted to keep my older model water filter system, I thought I should try it out. I installed it using the existing washer (as recommended by other customers), and let the water run for about 3 minutes. I found no difference with an original filter. It works perfectly and there’s no aftertaste, and the water is crystal clear. The quality is excellent, and the cost is about a quarter of the price of the original ones. Great quality, great value... I’m very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend it.
