I have used Chapin Sprayers my entire life and have never had a problem until now. I purchased two fo their backpack sprayers on here. I purchased the regular 4 gallon backpack sprayer and the diaphragm backpack sprayer for my powdered pesticides. Both sprayers are comfortable and have an excellent spray reach. I like everything about them other than the fact that the bolts they include to bolt the handle to the sprayer are not as strong as they used to be. Both sets of bolts broke off while I was pumping the sprayers. That has never happened on the sprayers I purchased in the past so I am thinking I got bolts from a faulty batch or something as both sprayers were purchased very close together. The problem is that I live in a very secluded area and none of the stores around here carry the correct size bolts so now I am stuck not being able to spray at a time that is most important to spray. right before the first frost. This is big inconvenience for me and now I have to plan a day to drive the hour and a half to the nearest town that has the correct sized bolts. Chapin should include a couple of extra sets in the box in case this problem should arise as I have had it happen twice on the last two I bought within a week of one another. Not impressed.
