Unlike cheaper made products with a metal screen inside the cylinder to hold the charcoal, this model has a perforated metal square whose corners protrude through the cylinder walls. It will not become brittle with repeated use and break like a screen will. Holes at base of cylinder allow insertion of long fireplace matches to light a non-toxic fire starter cube or crumpled sheet of newspaper. Handle riveted to cylinder at top and bottom. Wish there was 1 more rivet in between to better secure cylinder together. Wish handle was wood for greater comfort and not plastic. DIMENSIONS: 11 inches Tall; 6 1/2 inches Diameter; 8 inches Deep.
