Difficult to discern similar colors in some steps. Previous steps not shown with faint coloring, making it difficult to follow what pieces are being added where. A red outline is used, but difficult to see in some steps. I had to use magnifying glasses to see how smaller parts were being put together.

Uses colorful pieces and flat surface pieces and then covers them over. It also has two-part pieces that are available as single-part pieces - no idea why. It's another of those times where I'm convinced companies have left over pieces and endeavor to use them up in sets. It's not a great way to teach kids to build with lego. Bag numbers don't necessarily mean anything - early steps require parts several bags ahead. The bag numbers are not referenced in the instructions.

Otherwise, it's a great model with a great look when it's done. The cases are stackable, which is good to allow a lot more models to be displayed in less space. That's not my kinda thing, but sadly it is for many. Those people likely call it "legos". Hmmmmph.
