Bought this 3 years ago to digitize a big box full of negatives and slides but it was a daunting task (literally hundreds of images) so it sat on a shelf. Finally dug it out, hooked it up as per the instructions and within a few minutes, I was copying pictures. Should have done it years ago! Comes with adapters to scan a variety of film sizes. Note: 8mm/ Super8 film rolls can only be copied a single frame at a time, but what a great way to capture old images. Picture quality is quite acceptable and the unit has capability to adjust brightness and colour for old photos that were not ideal exposure. Also, you'll need an SD card to save to (not included) and then they can be transferred to your computer or even viewed on a monitor of TV with the included cables. Well worth every penny, especially if you consider what photo places charge to do this same service.
