You get two of them in the box.
Instantly mapped with DCS A-10c. I didn't have to configure a single thing. (I installed the drivers immediately, however. Best to do that on arrival)
Read the manual for the little side features built in such as changing brightness.
I have not yet mounted them to a screen. If you look into it, there are LUA scripts you can grab off the net and make certain games render the MFD content on a separate screen with a black background. Mount these over top of where it renders and you have a dynamic MFD screen.
For now, they work perfectly as is so I am not in a rush to mount to screen, I just reference what I see in the cockpit vs ...well. the cockpit that once was my desk.
