  For this price range I think this is one of the better dashcams available. It's got a great image quality during day and night time, good features, and comes with everything you need to set it up yourself. I set it up by routing the power cable into my 5V USB adapter in my center console. This of course only delivers power to the camera while the car is on, so if you're looking for 24/7 footage you'll probably have to hook it up to a portable battery.
  
  I'm not a big fan of the app, which can be annoying to use because you have to connect to the camera via its own wifi connection (usually not that stable). So if you want to get footage off the SD card I'd suggest doing it manually.
  
  BTW, do leave enough room on the side of the camera for your fingers to grab the SD card easily! I wish I'd stuck my camera a little further away from my rear view mirror as it's a tad annoying to get the SD card in and out now.
