My other dash cam bit the dust so I definitely needed a new one since I felt so uncomfortable not having one (I only drove one day without a dash cam it made me uncomfortable). I shopped around and this one was on sale (which was the reason I bought it) glad I did though, cause this is a great cam, really clear, I love the endless looping and recording (my other one only recorded when it wanted too). I also like that the screen is bigger too. The buttons and functions are really simple to use. Bonus the SD card and usb reader for the SD card. Edit: I have now bought another one for my mom’s car as her dash cam stopped working too (same brand as my old dash cam) and happy to know this product will work well for her and give her peace of mind. I added warranty on both cams so good to know we are protected for 3 years if anything were to happen with the cams.
