  1st and foremost this is not what it claims to be,
  the vox is always on period,there is NO way of ever turning it off,
  the PTT works but VOX always stays on again Period.
  there is NO software to change this radio,
  good luck trying to find people to talk to and ask questions about this radio.
  even the store has now way of EVER chating with some one about this radio.
  as for the hold number 7 down while turning on this radio - it dose not work.
  at least not with the radio i received,
  plus there was no charging cables, so �鶹��e refunded me and said
  keep the radio its on us, cool
  
  had to find an old gps from 20 years ago to find a cable that charges these radios.
  cant use radios because the noise wont turn them off - seems am always transmitting.
  
  what a waiste of money and time even if there free there not worth the bouther,.
