Use the bare floor mode or instructions due to the power of suction. Cord length, excellent, I have a 600 sq foot apt, durable, great attachments, ease under furniture, great value for the money. Will have to empty a couple of times, but to me that shows how well it does the job. Has a attachment holder, and cord rap, and filters are easy to get to, as well as dust cup. Only downside it tips easy due to the structure of the handheld vac attachment at the top. I lean it against my ottoman or couch when needed. When storing it the handheld vacuum detaches and hooks on the base of the vacuum.
