- Reviewed in Canada on February 28, 2025This is the first router I鈥檝e ever purchased. In the past I鈥檝e just used the Al in one device form my internet provider. I assumed because I lived in a small space, not a large home, that I didn鈥檛 need it.
I was having issues with my wifi connection for over a month straight bi tried tech support with Rogers/Shaw and changed my modem and switched to a faster speed plan. Nothing worked as well as buying this. I鈥檓 in a crowded apartment with more apartments and businesses near by and the wifi interference insane. The router just works better. Period. It was easy to setup for someone who鈥檚 not an IT expert. I just did a little googling and watched some YouTube videos in order to learn how to fine tune the settings. That鈥檚 optional though. You can let it do the guess work for you if that sounds like too much effort.
I like that I can put my smart devices on their own IoT network or I can easily limit a device鈥檚 ability to connect to other devices. If I need to switch to another WiFi channel it鈥檚 easy and fast.
If you鈥檙e in the same boat as I was, I recommend this. The value far exceeds the cost. I wish I鈥檇 bought this before signing up for a more expensive internet plan. Your provider isn鈥檛 going to tell you their all-in one device sucks.
