If you鈥檙e looking for a reliable K2 supplement, this one hits all the marks -- MK-7 form and a descent price point. For those not aware, MK-7 is known to stay active in the body longer than other forms of K2. The MK-7 form has roots in Japanese natto, a fermented soybean dish that鈥檚 naturally high in K2. This supplement essentially isolates that beneficial compound, so you get the advantages of natto without the strong flavor or need to add it to your diet daily.

One thing I appreciate is the high dose per capsule -- 100 mcg is potent and a great value in this large bottle size. It's in veggie caps and has no aftertaste. And for those picky, there are also no additives that might interfere with absorption. It鈥檚 also nice to have a plant-based option, which isn鈥檛 always easy to find with K2 supplements.

In terms of effectiveness, K2 in the MK-7 form is associated with better cardiovascular health, potentially helping to direct calcium into bones and away from arteries. While I know there are benefits to consistent use, I鈥檒l admit I don鈥檛 actually *feel* a difference despite having taken it for years. That said, K2 isn鈥檛 something that provides immediate effects; its impact is more preventative and works over the long term.

Just a heads up though, recall i said it "directs calcium into bones". This implies you ALSO need to take calcium and vitamin D3. This does not include either. All three work together. The D3 allows the calcium to be absorbed into the bloodstream instead of being flushed out. And the K2 acts like a traffic cop directing the calcium in your blood into your bones/teeth. So, don't cheap out. Make sure you use all three. Missing one can, over time, cause more complications. For example, without K2, and you just take calcium + d3, could cause a high levels of calcium floating in your bloodstream and ultimately plaque up your arteries. That can lead to an potential stroke. On the other end, using K2 alone would be useless because it is looking for calcium that doesnt exist in your system. It all works as a orchestral symphony. Other manufacturers understand this and will tend to include calcium+d3 with their K2 (MK7). Also this is why calcium almost always comes with D3.

My apologies for getting overly technical, but i felt this medical information is critical in helping you make your purchasing decisions and for living a happier, healthier lifestyle.

Overall, if you鈥檙e serious about bone and heart health, this is a solid investment, even if you won鈥檛 notice any immediate changes.
