- Reviewed in Canada on August 24, 2023I have a larger, twice as expensive, slightly sturdier and heavier granny cart, but it is old and careworn and it was time for me to shop for a more lightweight back-up cart. This one caught my eye because of its affordable price for a senior on a limited budget, is a neutral colour for men or women (grey with white polka dots) and I LOVE the way it collapses into a small, easy to carry or store item in a closet or car trunk.
The bag is made of substantial-enough fabric, shouldn't tear easily, and is large enough for a modest shopping trip, so long as you don't overload it with heavy 2L milk cartons or 1.89L glass jars of juice. It has 2 side pockets for tall bottles. But if you are shopping for sundries, the bag is spacious enough. Easy to clean. VERY LIGHTWEIGHT, comfortable for my arthritic joints. Nice, larger, silent, smooth-operating rubber wheels.
Also great for transporting library books, bags of cat/dog kibble, pick-your-own apples, a picnic lunch, farmers market shopping....so MANY uses!
