  Added to a Masterbuild Adventure Series electric smoker front door as a backup analog thermometer because in direct sunshine, I have hard time to read the digital display on the unit. Masterbuild original build in thermometer and thermocouple are off between each other about 1degree F. This piece of garbage is off by a mile compared to them. It is a joke. If you knock on the steady steamy glass on it, sometimes it moves up a little but regardless how high the actual temperature inside the smoker goes, this unit shows (occasionally) 50 degreeF max and that's all I get. I would step on it already long time ago but I have to leave it in the smoker as a cover for the hole I have to drill to install it to the front door until I get suitable and functional replacement. Only Fire brand won't see my money again. Ever. One star is unfortunatelly the lowest rating level I can Give here but that's still way too high . . .
