  Sometimes you buy protective cases for consoles and they cover every square inch and add quite a bit of weight. I get why you would need that in some cases if a young child was the owner of said console it makes sense. But if you are looking for something a little more discreet and lightweight that basically just gives you the protection in the areas you need then this is a fantastic solution. Not covering every square inch of your console, it will only cover the areas that are most typically bumped scratched or damaged such as the corners. I find it does actually give you a little bit of extra grip as well when holding the console. Does not interfere at all with you being able to dock your console either. Also leaves the back open for heat distribution and ease of unfolding the kick stand. Oh, and the thing looks awesome as well!
