- Reviewed in Canada on June 6, 2022I wanted a short run RCA to RCA for joining one of those little Fosi Audio tube preamps to a little Fosi Audio power amplifier.
When I first hooked them up, this cable was still being shipped here, so I used an old thin and long RCA cable from a storage bin in my basement.
Turning the power amp up past 15% would produce a noticable hum. I honestly just got the Fosi gear and I thought it was unfortunate but normal, since it wasn't really an issue when music was being played, only when idle.
Once this cable arrived, I hooked it up and immediately noticed there's no more hum! I can turn the power amp up to max and it's silent. That's the only thing I've changed so far in this brand new setup.
The whole system is feeding two old Bose 201 bookshelf speakers and it honestly sounds amazing.
I didn't expect this cable to solve my problem, but I am so happy it did.
