  It is well constructed and durable - my husband weighs over 300lb. These small improvements would make the world of difference: both base plates being adjustable - I used it under a hospital bed and in order to reach both wheels, there was no room for side rail between tray post and the mattress. The table top was so smooth, dishes would easily slide off with a slight bump. I sprayed the top with an anti-slip paint and adhered felt strips around the edges. Lastly, I would recommend the tray arm also be adjustable in length, even a couple of inches on each arm making it more suitable for various applications.
