This is my 2nd 60mm Noctua Fan for my Raspberry Pi 4. I got a 12v and now I tried this 5v version.

Using the 12v fan on 5v power is much quieter than using the 5v fan on 5v power. Maybe I’m stating the obvious. I much prefer the 12v fan as it was almost silent.

I removed the 3 wires, rearranged the red and black to suit the Rpi4 and trimmed the two plastic tabs on the molex connector that were bumping into the Rpi 4 GPIO pins. I folded back the yellow wire and taped it to the cable sheath.
