  I bought this mainly for moths and mosquitoes. The mesh is too tight for moths. I literally have to swing it so hard to get the bug stuck in there. But then it feels like the brutal force of the swing is killing the bugs, not the zap... I've used zapper rackets before in South Korea, and all you need to do was gently touch the bug with it. Not too happy with the tight mech. Maybe I will have to modify.
