  Was a bit skeptical about the reviews as there a lot of inaccurate ones these days on products. Most of the reviews pointed to this TV stand being good so I finally bought this one after going through several other similar ones. Assembly is quite straight forward. The instruction manual seems to be translated to ENG but is quite easy to figure out especially with the detailed pictures and markings. The central pole itself is in 3 pieces and holds together with a stone type of tension plus screw system, never came across that before but was quite easy to put together and it holds quite well. Was surprised that the packaging box itself was small and all these items were packed into it.
  Comes with several spacers, screws, allen keys, wrench etc. Most of the TV stand body including the base is some sort of metal and is rigid. The casters and tray are plastic but seems to be well made.
  I put on a 42 inch lcd and it holds quite well. Wheels are very smooth. Haven't tried it on carpet but several reviews tell that it is smooth on carpet as well.
  Overall a very good buy and well made product.
