  All the medium to light colors are pretty much exact. So the very bright or dark colors are lighter than you'd expect. I tried out the dark green to be sure. It colors exactly the way it looks. Very nice color palette though. No complaints, just that the box isn't totally accurate. I have had colored chalk before that was bright/dark with rich color. So I know it's possible. These were purchased for adult sidewalk chalk art. I either liked more blue/green/grey/black. But that's just me. This is great for kids to have fun! I'm happy with the purchase. especially since I got them on sale. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have bought them.
