  I remember when this movie was in the theatres I saw a clip of an interview with James Woods where he said the reason he liked doing this movie was that it wasn't a traditional gothic vampire story; it was more like a western. I thought, "Yeah. If Clint Eastwood made a vampire movie, it would be like this." This is one of my favourite horror movies.
