  I often wondered what all the hype around this orbit model was. turns out I'm still not sure. it works okay. biggest fault, no flow control. it's either on full or off, regardless of tap pressure. trying to water a small area is a challenge. the settings have different patterns but seem to all shoot the same distance except for the fan option. still, you have to spike it in the ground on a sharp angle other wise it sprays too far.. any setting misses 4-6 feet from the sprinkler location itself. or even farther. lastly, there isn't much difference between the 3 small medium and large settings. not sure if I got a defective unit or this is just how it works. at least I didn't pay full price, otherwise I'd be choked.
