  So many loupes to choose from. I decided to buy this as I like the fact that it was supposed to a bright light which I wanted to cut my dogs nails with. It does indeed have a very bright light and it is comfortable to use for me. The interchangeable lenses are handy for more detailed work. It does come with a headband that you can attach but I do not think I will ever need it. It does take 3 AAA batteries ans once installed I did not really notice a lot of extra weight in my forehead once I put it on. It should last me a long time as my needs are not that intense
