  Our Breville finally gave up after 8.5 years... at least a full pot of coffee every day on average... that's well over 3000 pots of coffee! it really does make some of the best coffee we choose to drink! Yes, it takes a little daily maintenance, and every so often a more complete clean out... but there's almost nothing high value in this world that doesn't require reasonable effort! Follow the manual, calibrate grinds weight, descale when prompted and enjoy the brew! This machine has been worth every penny we paid for it! We only hope that the replacement hangs in for just as long! :)
