  I have only made rice so far in this rice cooker and I am impressed. First time was Jasmine rice and second was brown rice. The cooked rice was soft and fluffy and not sticky or gummy. It is easy to use. I have used a variety of rice cookers including those for the microwave, stove top cooking and a zojirushi rice cooker. The zojirushi was old and I wanted to upgrade the technology. No regrets in buying this rice cooker.
