  I purchased 3 or 4 different types of baby locks and depending upon the area I use the one that is most logically. However I found the cabinet locks to be the most versatile and heavily used. To the point where I ordered 2 sets! I highly recommend it, and our 18 month old still cannot open the cabinets we have it on.
  
  My only suggestion is to make sure you tighten the lock once you put it on so there is not to much play. If there is some play in the lock, your kids might start pulling on the handles of the cabinets because they like the way they swing back and make noise.
