  I had a similar machine years and years ago that I adored and I bought this one in anticipation it would be the same. This unit is a bit cheaply made, and it doesn't seal your sandwiches like my old one used to. The positive of this machine is the ceramic cook surfaces, because indeed nothing sticks to them so you just have to wipe it to clean it.
