- Reviewed in Canada on June 9, 2025I've been a cell phone user since their inception and never had a phone that is so sluggish as the Samsung A16. Many times it takes 1+ seconds for the phone to respond to a touch. Don't count it to respond fast for time-sensitive uses.
Note: I don't access social networks in my phones, so I disabled all such apps that came installed. I can't imagine how slow this thing would be with those intensive apps running.
Also, the screen size is advertised as “6.7" in the full rectangle and 6.5" accounting for the rounded corners”, but the whole phone is 7"1/8 diagonally. This results in huge black borders around the actual display (see photo) and make the phone unnecessarily bulky.
