Note: I got this VOLTIFYMAX Floor Stand Kindle Holder for use with my mobile ‘phone, so this review will not discuss its Kindle holding and Kindle-page turning features.
The VOLTIFYMAX Floor Stand Kindle Holder is versatile in the ways it can be used, and is very well made and designed - I have another Floor Stand Tablet / Mobile Phone Holder which has a fairly serious design-flaw (the Tablet / Mobile Phone can fall out of the holder), so it is reassuring to me that this VOLTIFYMAX is very well designed, and does not have that kind of design flaw.
I am very pleased with the VOLTIFYMAX Floor Stand Kindle Holder, and recommend it for use with a mobile ‘phone.
Recommended.
YOU SHOULD KNOW
1. The VOLTIFYMAX Floor Stand Kindle Holder has a 4 mm thick foam pad on the underside of the metal base
2. I do not have a tablet, so I only used my Samsung S20 mobile ‘phone when testing the VOLTIFYMAX for this review - my ‘phone measures 6.5 inches diagonally (16.51 cm) in its case.
3. I measured the maximum width to which you can open the Pull Chuck (i.e., the Tablet / ‘Phone Holder) to be 9.44 inches (24 cm).
PROS - WHAT I LIKE
1. The VOLTIFYMAX’s Folding (cantilever) arm feels very tight / secure
2. The Tablet / Phone Holder holds my mobile very well/securely (I do not have a tablet to try it with)
3. The Folding arm is adjustable (can be bent down, or opened up) from 27.5 x 57.48 inches (70 cm x 146 cm), and can be easily lifted off the Support rod into which it slots, allowing you to replace it with another type of arm / holder - e.g., one that has a built-in ring light, or a microphone holder
4. The floor stand is just the right weight and size to give the VOLTIFYMAX good stability - I measure the VOLTIFYMAX floor stand / base to be 12.9 x 8.26 inches (33 cm x 21 cm, 4 mm thick; 8 mm thick when including the 4 mm foam pad on the underside of the base); this metal floor stand base is designed so that it will not tip over, but I would imagine that care should be taken to ensure that something of the weight of a tablet is not rotated away from the base, as this might tip over the VOLTIFYMAX
5. The manufacturer has done a very good job of making sure that the design, construction, and weight of this tablet / phone holder does not get in the way of portability - you can pick up the VOLTIFYMAX and move it around very easily
6. I am able to position the “universal ball” (on the back of the Pull Chuck / tablet clip / holder) so that my mobile ‘phone is completely parallel to the ground or to the ceiling - this is a really good bit of design (I presume, but am not sure, you would be able to do this with a tablet attached)
7. The VOLTIFYMAX’s construction (a steel base, and aluminium alloy support rods) makes the VOLTIFYMAX robust, but relatively light weight
8. Although I have not fully tested the Remote Kindle Page Turner, I am quite impressed with the fact the VOLTIFYMAX package includes that accessory
