First and foremost, nails. I鈥檝e always been a nail biter, but once I started taking these I set my mind to stopping and my nails have grown beautifully. They鈥檙e much stronger than they used to be, I remember at least one occasion where I knocked my nail and was shocked to find it hadn鈥檛 broken 鈥 before these vitamins, it definitely would not survived that impact.
Because I鈥檝e always been a nail biter, it鈥檚 hard for me to comment on growth speed (mine never had a chance to get very long. However, I鈥檝e had friends remark that they鈥檝e grown very quickly, so I guess that means they鈥檙e doing pretty good.
As for hair, I think growth has sped up slightly in some places other than my head. Personally I don鈥檛 really care, especially since it鈥檚 winter I hardly notice. I would say, don鈥檛 worry about that too much 鈥 it鈥檚 not noticeable. I think my head hair growth has accelerated slightly, and I鈥檓 only one bottle in. It鈥檚 too early to comment on health: it takes months for a noticeable difference in hair health to develop, with vitamins that鈥檚 just how it is. I鈥檓 hopeful though.
Importantly, I want to comment on acne. Picking these up, I was extremely concerned about whether or not they鈥檇 make me breakout. One of my friends eventually dropped these because she couldn鈥檛 deal with the acne anymore. For me, in the first week, I did break out for a few days, but it was over within a week. It鈥檚 also possible that my breakout was due to other things. Since then, I鈥檝e noticed no real increase in my acne. I鈥檓 very happy about this. If acne is a concern for you, just remember that it鈥檚 not unusual for your body to take upwards of a month to adjust to these. It鈥檚 different for everyone, and I think it鈥檚 worth it for you to give them a chance.
I find the flavour a bit... strange. It is extremely artificial, but very sweet. Most will like it (my boyfriend is always asking me for one whenever he catches me taking them). I honestly don鈥檛 mind it, but I certainly wouldn鈥檛 rave about it.
Prices fluctuate on these a lot. Try to catch them when they鈥檙e on the low end. For me, I bought the bottle of 80 for 6.68 CAD. Pretty sure it went up around 3 bucks the day after I bought them.
First time I bought them they didn鈥檛 arrive, had to wait 3 days for them to send out a new shipment of my order (free of charge). Pretty sure that鈥檚 my local carrier鈥檚 fault though, and the 麻豆区 customer service was good as always.
All in all, if you鈥檙e looking for a gummy to add to your daily routine and give your hair and nails some love, this is a very good candidate. I definitely recommend trying it.
