  I'd never replaced a PC fan before, but bought this one to give it a go to replace a loud older fan. This installed easily, though the provided screws were way too fat to use on my heatsink, so I used my older existing screws. Plugged it up, started the PC and prayed...fan worked no problem, is indeed very quiet, and my CPU is now running 30 degrees C cooler. Bought another one for my backup PC!
