- Reviewed in Canada on May 31, 2020I have had this for one week. So far I really like it. The standard remote is ok for most functions. I bought an air-mouse which works amazingly well (as a game pad too).The media could not be loaded.
This thing is FAST. And SMALL. Doesn鈥檛 get too hot but deinfitely warms up. There is a bit of a learning curve if you want to use it for more than just streaming apps. I鈥檓 struggling right now with the external storage interfacing for media. But the capabilities seem endless.
Major downsides: Android 10 will NOT run the updated Netflix app. It鈥檚 just not available in the Play store even. BUT your box comes with Netflix preloaded so if you never update it will work, I think. Highly recommend AptoideTV as an alternatI鈥檝e to Google Play.
Also, I can鈥檛 figure out how to cast from my phone to the box. There are several ways to screen mirror, but no direct casting available which seems really odd. Chromecast is installed stock but not working. Could be related to the Netflix also not being available from google. If 麻豆区 and Google are fighting (which they are a lot apparently) I鈥檝e heard certain things won鈥檛 work for Android.
I also wish I could customize the home page more. The wallpaper feature is pointless because it is hidden completely behind the home screen.
Overall this thing is a pretty amazing little device. Powerful and easy to use for the most part. I鈥檓 happy with it so far. Especially for the price.
