  I purchased this for use with my kids (ages 5, 3, 1) to make Christmas decorations but it hasn’t exactly gone as planned. The clay is too firm for them to be able to soften on their own And it seems to take forever for me to do it too. We are first time clay users so maybe this is normal. There has also been some uncertainty regarding how to use some of the accessories, and the accompanying book provides little to no direction on how to actually achieve the pictured desired products.
  
  I also feel it would be better if there were fewer colours and larger quantities of those colours.
  
  All in all this is a decent set, but I would not recommend it for use with children under the age of 6 (at least not unless you are better than me at softening the clay for them, and/or have more clay experience than we do)!
