- Reviewed in Canada on January 9, 2024I really like this stuff and it works great on my combo skin. It has a pretty smell to it and leave my skin feeling great after using it. No dryness at all. I am using it paired with the balm from the same company. One night I couldn't find the balm and decided to just skip it and thought it would be an issue to not have moisturizer on, but my skin didn't itch like with some face cleansers.
I actually had the ultimate test with this one. I did a few days of festive Christmas makeup and for those of you out there who have tried red eyeshadow will know that it often stains and it did on my hand when I swatched to see what colour I wanted, and regular soap wouldn't remove it. This cleanser removed that and also removed ALL my festive colours, glitter and all. My toner on a cotton round had no makeup come off on it so this stuff works great.
One thing I noticed about this cleanser is that it doesn't lather much for me.. It works great, just that I find it doesn't lather like other cleansers and I have soft water and most things do lather.
It has a light scent that I can't really tell what it is, it could be the calendula but it smells more like an aloe or something, I find it very pleasant but for those who don't like scents, it is very subtle to me.
I love it and would recommend it.
