I don't mind plastic but these bowls are so thin and flimsy, one cracked immediately after it rolled of my table. They don't provide much protection for the roots of plants either. It gets pretty toasty after some direct sun. They are also very shallow and pretty small. I made it work but I would not re-order these again.
