These metal skewers are fairly short so please take note of the length. The straight part measures 6.75" but I would say the actual usable length is about 6" only.
The end is pointy so it is great for skewering and the items are finished off nicely with no noticeable burrs or defects. I haven't used it on the grill yet nor have I run it in the dishwasher but I am confident that it'll do fine. Lastly, there is no noticeable smell or anything that would deter me from using it for food.
