- Reviewed in Canada on January 7, 2025I bought this 10-piece wooden utensil set in March 2024 and initially loved it for its elegant look and variety of tools. The set does come with care instructions, which I unfortunately misplaced and didn鈥檛 follow鈥攍ikely contributing to wear over time. These utensils require handwashing, and I鈥檝e noticed that some pieces have splintered. There鈥檚 also an inconsistency in finishes, with some pieces being shiny and smooth while others are rougher, making them harder to clean (especially after foods like eggs stick to them).The media could not be loaded.
Despite these drawbacks, I do love the spatulas鈥攖hey鈥檙e slim and perfect for flipping items like eggs. However, some spoons, especially the ladle, are smaller than I鈥檇 prefer. Overall, it鈥檚 a nice set, but proper care is key to making them last. I鈥檇 recommend them if you can get them on sale, but not at full price.
