  I was excited to try this stone drying mat as an alternative to a soggy towel or plastic dish rack. The idea of using a stone seemed perfect, but this product didn’t live up to the hype. It leaves a strong chemical smell on all the dishes, likely from the material, so I have to rinse everything again before I can use it. Plus, it gets so wet that you still need a towel underneath. Honestly, it might work fine for a pet, but it’s definitely not healthy for humans. Now I’m stuck looking for another dish mat and spending more money. I don’t recommend this item—just because something’s popular doesn’t mean it’s quality. Save your money and avoid the hassle.
