  works just as intended, even though the unit is plastic it feels and appears well built. Takes a bit of pumping but can easily pull 20inches of vacuum, you can fully rebuild this pump and it is more than adequate for checking the vacuum advance on HEI distributors, best of all this functions the same as a $300 "brand name" hand vacuum pump for a fraction of the cost.
